INFLUENCE OF MOTIVATION, ENVIRONMENT, AND WORK SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT STIE LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstract


ABSTRACT

Employee is the main asset of the organization and has a strategic role as a thinker, planner, and organizational activity control. Factors that can be used to improve employee performance, including motivation and job satisfaction, Robbins (2001). In addition to work motivation factors, the work environment is equally important in improving employee performance. The purpose of this research was to know the effect of work motivation, work environment, job satisfaction on employee performance at STIE Lampung Timur. The research was conducted by questionnaires instrument to 40 employees of STIE Lampung Timur with motivation as independent variable X1, work environment (X2), job satisfaction (X3) and employee performance (Y). The result of regression analysis using SPSS (Satistical Product and Service Solution) version 23.0 found that motivation, work environment, and job satisfaction partially did not contribute significantly to the performance of STIE Lampung Timur employees. However, multiple regression analysis shows that Y = 2.275 + 0.067X1 + 0,567X2 + 0,328X3 is the best model with adjusted correlation coefficient 0,376.
