Focus and Scope

Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC) has a scope that involves understanding and research on the role of digital communication in public relations practice. The following are some of the areas that may be included in the scope of this journal:

  • Digital Communication Strategies in Public Relations: This journal is able to explore the strategies used by public relations practitioners in utilizing digital communication tools and platforms. It involves research on the use of social media, digital content, online campaigns and integrated approaches in digital communication practices;

  • Reputation and Crisis Management in Digital Communications: This journal can examine how digital communications affect reputation management and crisis management in public relations practices. It involves research on rapid response to emerging issues on social media, online brand image management, and risk mitigation strategies in the context of digital crisis communication;

  • Stakeholder Engagement through Digital Media: This journal can explore how public relations practitioners build better engagement and relationships with stakeholders through digital media. It involves research on stakeholder participation in digital platforms, communication strategies to influence their beliefs and attitudes, and the use of collaborative tools to build sustainable relationships;

  • The Influence of Social Media on Public Relations Practices: This journal can focus on the influence of social media on public relations practices. It involves research on how social media influences public perception, interactions with stakeholders, and effective communication strategies in harnessing the power of social media;

  • Ethics and Responsibilities in Digital Communications: This journal can discuss ethical issues and responsibilities related to digital communications in public relations practices. It involves research on data privacy, transparency, fairness and ethical considerations in the use of technology and data in digital communications;

  • Measurement and Evaluation of Digital Communication Performance: This journal can study methodologies and approaches to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of digital communication in public relations practices. This involves developing performance indicators, collecting and analyzing data, and using evaluation methods to measure the impact of digital communications on public relations objectives.

Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC) focuses on deep understanding of the role and influence of digital communication in public relations practice. By involving critical research and analysis, this journal aims to expand knowledge about how public relations can take advantage of the potential and challenges offered by digital communication in achieving communication goals and building effective relationships with stakeholders.

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editor will be selected through a preliminary review by the Editorial Board. Articles that are considered eligible will be sent to reviewers and the next selection process using Double Blind Peer Review. Results of review articles will be returned to the author for revision. The review process takes up to four weeks. Every article that entry will be judged on aspects of science and methodology. a reviewer in collaboration with Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC) consists of experts in the fields of education. The reviewers are experts in the field who have experience working as a reviewer for several journals in both the national and international scale.

The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully between 1 - 2 months. Please notice that may be paper submissions to Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC), the duration of the review process can be up to 2 months.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC) strives for the constant availability of published articles. With this in mind, Journal of Public Relations and Digital Communication (JPRDC) content is continually archived and preserved its published articles in the library of Universitas Sang Bumi Ruwa Jurai Lampung.
